Iker Ochotorena was born in San Sebastián, Spain, in 1984. After graduating from Camilo José Cela University, he opened his studio, OOAA, first in his hometown and two years later in Madrid.
Initially, his projects mainly focused on interior renovations of homes, through which he began to be a part of the AD100 from 2017 until today. He was also named one of the Top 10 International Designers in 2019 by EST Living. With his first commission for a new construction home, he was awarded the first prize for Best Single-Family Residence in 2020 by the Crèateurs Design Awards in Paris. For several years now, Iker Ochotorena’s work has been featured in numerous national and international publications.
In addition to architecture, Iker is passionate about decoration and furniture design, disciplines he has incorporated into the studio to carry out projects from architecture to the smallest interior design details.
